Before The Sale

Sale preparation and services include but aren’t limited to organizing, researching, pricing all items, marketing the sale to the area and posting signage to direct traffic.  We work with you to make sure you are comfortable with the process and have all the information you need regarding the sale.

Before the sale we will beautifully stage all furniture and items in order to attract the best sale price.  All items will be priced at fair market value, while keeping in mind the end goal to have an empty home or storage unit.  Pricing your items comes from years of experience dealing with antiques, attending auctions, handling estate sales and working with dealers – Sale & Away knows how to get the best price for your item.   

Sale & Away will also build a marketing strategy around each sale in order to alert shoppers, antique dealers and vendors in the area.  Directional signs are placed to guide buyers to the right location every time.  Our website also lists upcoming sale dates and locations.

Sale and Away prides itself on its relationships not just with the sellers but with the buyers too.  Each customer will be welcomed by professional and attentive staff to help guide them through the sale.  The sale area, whether a whole home, several rooms or a storage unit is constantly maintained and kept organized and tidy.    Items are staged, and as big pieces are purchased and removed, the area is arranged to continue to be appealing to buyers.

After The Sale

Our motto is clear it to the floor. After each sale the home or storage unit will be broom clean. As the seller you will be provided a Final Statement and a check for your proceeds. All items not sold or agreed to beforehand will be removed by donation, recycling and/or haul away.  Our goal is to leave you with an empty space ready for the next step.
